In an interview, Hamed Angha, the author of “Aghazadeh”, described the series as “the bottom of society’s hatred of some corruption” and “the loud voice of a protest”.
Elsewhere, Angha said, “We are not building Aghazadeh just to keep people entertained, just to keep them entertained.” We don’t even make a series that you can easily fall asleep after watching it, but we make Aghazadeh to put many to sleep and make our audience think about different aspects of social issues.Hamed Angha called the series painful for people and said that various stonings have been done so that this series will not be made. He wants to mention these stonings at the right time after the series airs.
