Grand survivor of the golden age of Broadway theaters. Opened 1926 for Orpheum circuit vaudeville. Beautifully restored 1989. Now used for music, stage, live TV.
Best theatre I've ever been to. Wurlitzer organ, triple and double features and always an amazing lineup. Everyone in person from Sid Haig spider baby and Pam Grier Coffey to Patty Duke and valley of the dolls. The singalongs are fun and its an easy Bart and muni stop away.
