The park is really huge with lots of trees. I did a 10k marathon here and it was a really good experience. However some places do not have shade so it can get really sunny. Do wear a cap if the weather is sunny! You also get the beach views that are amazing to have in a marathon!
Best place to take a walk and enjoy nature. The cherry blossoms are blooming in and around the Japanese Tea garden, and are in full bloom. Beautiful! Stow lake is full of birds,turtles and fish. You can also rent boats. So many things to do in the park.
